The day after we released Everything Around You, the album, Felicity’s father Rex, lost his battle with cancer. Rex was a profound influence in Felicity’s life, encouraging her to be positive and look for the good in everything. In the wake of his passing the song has come to feel like an echo of his example and the guidance he provided throughout his life. He gave us his blessing insisting we tour the new album and share our stories and love of music with people.
We hope the combination of the imagery in the clip and the song itself leaves people feeling uplifted, inspired and hopeful.

A shopping cart giving birth to a song is a reminder of the mysterious and wonderful nature of inspiration. When Felicity Urquhart gave her mother a “Joyrolla” for Christmas, she was struck by the idea of experiencing and imparting joy as you roll through life. Enlisting fellow song soldier Josh Cunningham, the two set out to compose an energetically charged ode to joy that’s sure to get you rolling.
